" Grand juries do not need a unanimous decision from all members to indict, but it does need a supermajority of 2/3 or 3/4 agreement for an indictment (depending on the jurisdiction). - See more at: http://criminal.findlaw.com/criminal-procedure/how-does-a-grand-jury-work.html#sthash.cWhngQj8.dpuf

At least 9 of 12 people? I thought only 4 were necessary to bring a no indictment?

Officer Wilson not indicted in killing of Michael Brown
by Simon inafter a thorough investigation and weighing of the evidence the grand jury has decided not to indict the officer.. the reaction so far seems as predicted - people refuse to accept that the result represents justice despite claims that is what they wanted.. there is now violence and vandalism, including gunshots.
let's hope the police contain the troublemakers.. .

Even citizens who are not law enforcement have the right to use deadly force in the USA to stop an attacker.

Bill Cosby - too much smoke for no fire?
by Simon init seems like the list of people who are accusing him of rape and sexual assault is growing every day.
i'm skeptical of single accusations but the number of people and the similar stories seem overwhelming now.. it's not a conviction but to the court of public opinion ... guilty?.

He's done in the public opinion court. It's a piling on now. My guess is he will remain absolutely silent.

Significant new authority? Is this similar to a PMQ? Could be reference to case law too I suppose. Maybe the judgement in San Diego.

The Internet Is Strangling Religion
by metatron inhttp://www.salon.com/2014/11/14/why_the_internet_is_slowly_strangling_religion_partner/.
about mormons mostly.
the problem with witlesses is their eager ignorance and avoidance of critical thinking.. this is one big advantage over other religions.

Mormons are under the same edicts to avoid anti literature. Maybe because they are more "worldly" (patriotism, holidays, etc) they are more prone to examining and thinking critically.

I understand it and appreciate your response. This is no doubt why WT offered Ashe up as the PMQ in place of Lösche. In his deposition however he is found wanting on that scale and proves only to be a prepared "ringer" in the court room.

New requirement to become an Elder or Ministerial Servant!
by hardtobeme init has been a few months since i hear this from an elder.
he said that the c/o told them this new requirement.. "men that wanna be an elder or ministerial servant has to go out to field service on sundays.
if there is an elder or ministerial servant that is not going out to field service on sunday can lose the priviledge".

I mean seriously, the elders are never out in service until the end of the month. If this became policy there would be no more servant bodies.
